Gifted pros cons

There are many pros to being gifted.  Some pros are they get recognized .  You have access to advanced education which will help you in the long run when you need to go to college.  Also, you have chances to explore new ideas while other people are working on lower level subjects.  Being gifted also means you have good grades which is a good thing.

Unfortunately there are bad things to being gifted.  Gifted people like me have pressure on us to perform to are highest potential.  Also being gifted means your different and tts sometimes separates you from the crowd.  Being gifetd means you have higher expectations which causes stress. Stress can lead to loss of interest in activities, increasingly moody behavior , and much more.  These are the pros and cons to being gifted.

ASYNCHROMOUS DEVELPOMENT is when you grow ate different rates emotionally, intellectually, and physically.  One time when I experienced this is when my parents keep telling me that i need to grow emotionally because I keep acting immature.

From the Being Gifted is a Blessing and a Curse for Students article, they quote one student that says she "expects to perform better than the average student and will push herself until she does."  I always like to perform better so I can show my friends that I am gifted because when I push myself I feel good that I do good in school.
